Data Snapshot: Think Again - Gen Z and Baby Boomers Find Common Ground in Arizona
The Arizona Voters’ Agenda counters narratives of division by revealing where Arizonans agree at high majority levels on key issues. One such narrative is that Gen Z and Baby Boomers are diametrically opposed. While all the items on the Voters’ Agenda receive more than majority support among all generations, the 2024 survey data show the oldest and youngest among us often agree at similar percentages and sometimes show the highest levels of support.

In an era often defined by division, the 2024 Arizona Voters’ Agenda reveals shared interests that have the potential to bring us together. Generational stereotypes don’t hold up— the data shows common ground between Arizonans, young and old, on critical issues. This is just one example of the immense opportunity for coming together that is highlighted in this new research. Let’s focus on our shared priorities and work together for the Arizona we all want.

Utilizing Data to Meet Yuma County’s Unique Education & Economic Needs
 
 
CFA team members and community leaders from Yuma Union High School District, STEDY, Arizona Western College, Helios Education Foundation, the Yuma County Superintendent, and the Yuma City Mayor, Doug Nicholls, attend a Yuma County Education Committee convening.
 
CFA proudly supports Yuma County through its Industry and Education Committees. These committees focus on building a skilled workforce to drive economic growth by increasing post-secondary credential attainment and meeting regional industry demands. During the Education Committee's June gathering at the ASU Helios Decision Center for Educational Excellence, CFA guided meaningful discussions on education, data, and economic development. CFA is committed to helping Yuma leaders use data to better meet their community's needs and to promote economic growth.

Every day, non-elected public servants work tirelessly to make impactful contributions to communities and civic life all around Arizona. That hard work collectively builds a stronger and brighter future for our state, much like Gabe Zimmerman did as Director of Community Outreach for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Awards celebrate his legacy recognizing the meaningful work honorees accomplish every day. We are thrilled to share that 2024 honorees have been selected and we are excited to announce them at the Arizona City and County Management Association Summer Conference next month. Thank you to our esteemed selection committee, The Arizona City and County Manager Association, and Cox Communications for making this recognition possible.
 
Summer Camp Calendar: Help Students Have Fun & Grow Their Futures this Summer

Students complete a variety of hands-on activities like removing stitches, testing samples, and more during Benson Hospital’s Future Superhero Camp.
 
Students in Benson, Ariz. spent part of their summer exploring life-saving careers in healthcare with hands-on demonstrations, interactive learning activities, and behind-the-scenes tours of Benson Hospital. Young Arizonans from across the state can do the same: explore new interests, develop essential skills, and create lasting memories which grow their future education and career opportunities. CFA and PipelineAZ compiled a comprehensive list of current summer camp opportunities on an easy-to-access website to support parents and students in finding programs that align with their interests and goals.
