Strengthening connections between industry and education

Building pathways to economic prosperity

Arizona Pathways to Prosperity (APTP), a Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) impact initiative, supports educational attainment, creates future opportunity, and leads to upward economic mobility for all young Arizonans while supporting state and regional talent needs.

We work with educational partners and industry to identify the careers, knowledge, skills, and degrees/credentials that businesses need to grow and thrive.

Our Pathways

We partner with K-12 and postsecondary educators to design and implement career-connected pathways that fulfill student and industry needs.

We create pathways based on 3 key elements:

1. Career Exploration

CFA provides career exploration for grades K-12 with curriculum supporting K-5 learners and 6-12 learners.

3. Work-Based Learning

CFA works with education and industry partners to design and implement innovative work-based learning experiences for students and teachers, building capacity within the community to replicate and scale these innovations.
