Exploration

Our work

CFA helps students in grades K-12 explore future careers. We provide quality, scalable, and highly adaptable career exploration curriculum to schools, which supports them in familiarizing students with the modern labor market and in-demand industries. Our curriculum encourages students to explore their interests and talents early on to see how they complement potential education and career opportunities in their future. Plus, the curriculum allows for multiple teaching modalities and ties into the Arizona Education Career Action Plan (ECAP) for all students.

Why it matters

Mapping a career path is particularly challenging if you don’t know the destination. For young people today, understanding the career options available to them is essential to success. However, in recent years, fewer educators and families have had what they need to keep pace with the changes in the labor market and help young learners plan for their future careers.

CFA aspires to change that by ensuring that all young people experience high-quality, robust career exploration and guidance that helps them make informed choices about their educational and career pathways. With an eye toward equity, we work with schools to design and implement career exploration programs that meet the needs of all students.
